Rachael has a deep passion for the written word. She loves watching a story or a paper become the best version of itself. She has worked on everything from award winning novels to doctoral dissertations.
Rachael has a Master’s degree in Diplomacy from Norwich University and a Master’s degree in Publishing from the George Washington University. She has a copyediting certificate from ACES and Poynter, refines her editorial skills through regular attendance of EFA courses, and is a member of the Editorial Freelancers’ Association (EFA), ACES: The Society for Editing, and the Society for Scholarly Publishing.

Throughout her life, Tia has developed a love for the book development process from start to finish. She loves the creative aspect involved in turning a story into a work of art. She has worked on everything from personal projects for individuals to published magazines for nonprofit organizations.
Tia has a Master’s degree in Liberal arts from McDaniel College and a Master’s degree in Publishing from George Washington University. She has a certificate in Writing for Children and Young Adults from McDaniel College, and is currently working on obtaining her Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. She is a member of the Society of Scholarly Publishing (SSP), the Committee of Publication Ethics (COPE), and the Editorial Freelancers’ Association (EFA). By taking courses from SSP, COPE, Elsevier, and EFA, Tia regularly polishes her editorial skills and knowledge to enhance her work.
